EMERGENZ
Renowned Chilean choreographer José Vidal and his company CÍA are dealing with issues like collectivity, bodies and their potential to build and change communities. After the great success of his Hamburg version of Rito De Primavera (Frühlingsopfer) in 2018, Vidal and his company produces their new piece at Kampnagel, Hamburg.

EMERGENZ is a piece that blooms from a constant and collective creative process. Composed and directed by José Vidal, the work is proposes itself as an experience in physical metamorphosis, a moment of profound connection between subjects whom, coming from diverse places, come together in the same turning point. 100 dancers, citizens and voices form a choir together with sound and visual artists to incorporate the audience in this multisensory experience. To this effect, notable artists collaborate with José Vidal: Silvia Vivanco as choir director, Julio Escobar as lighting designer, Diego Noguera does the live music composition, Andrea and Octavio Gana of Delightlab elaborate the visual projections.
